Nov 30, 2016  I have downloaded the latest driver for my Canon LIDE110 scanner for windows 10, but not working since I upgraded to Windows 10 My Canoscan 4200F worked quite well with Windows 7 Home Basic, though once in a while I would get the 'Twain Error' message on trying to acquire the sacanner with the ArcSoft 5.5 software supplied along with the scanner.

Infrared cleaning works well with all types of color negative and color slide film, including Kodachrome. However, silver-based black/white film doesn't work with infrared cleaning because the silver particles look the same in visible light and infrared light. You need to install the driver to use this scanner on Windows x86, Windows x64 and Mac OS X.

This scanner isn't supported on Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and later, since CyberViewX uses a PowerPC plugin for this scanner and Rosetta isn't available with 10.7 and later. On Mac OS X prior to 10.7, you need to use the x32 version of VueScan 9.0.96 with Rosetta.
